Weekend Eating | Fried Chicken


We woke up a bit late last Friday and while we were hurrying to cook lunch and my hubby's packed food, I remembered the chicken in the fridge and decided to make fried chicken.

To make it a little tasty, you know, avoiding the blah-bland and dried up chicken, I decided to boil it first in water with a little basil, salt, pepper and thyme. After boiling it, I rolled it in those store bought spicy chicken fry mix and deep fried it in oil.

For the dip, I decided to make a simple mayo and ketchup dip, adding some parmesian vinaigrette to it, that was it!

A simple meal that allowed us to enjoy lunch without making the hubby late for work.
